Recipe - Broccoli Salad



I love this recipe and I've tweaked it to make it more Weight Watcher's friendly. It tastes good and goes well with chicken or fish. I've even had it with burgers. Does anyone else have a better version of broccoli salad or any salad? I'm always open to new ideas. The recipe is below.


Broccoli Salad

3 bunches fresh broccoli, chopped, and steamed

2/3 Cup of Craisins

1/2 small red onion, chopped small

¼ Cup of Turkey or Pork Real Bacon Bits

½ Cup of Shredded Cheddar Cheese



Mix these ingredients together for the dressing and stir into salad ingredients:

2 teaspoons raw apple cider vinegar

1 cup of light mayo

5 to 10 packets of Splenda, Stevia, or Truvia (May be more depending on your taste buds)

¼ cup of almonds on top

Serve chilled.
